## 1. Executive Summary & Privacy Principles
BHIOS is a specialized Android battery telemetry and hardware analytics utility. The application is built upon a strict **Zero-Knowledge Architecture** and **Data Minimization Principle**:
- **Zero Personally Identifiable Information (PII):** No user accounts, logins, names, emails, phone numbers, contact books, geographic locations (GPS/Network), or cross-app tracking.
- **100% On-Device Local Processing:** Electrical measurements (instantaneous power in Watts, current in mA, voltage in mV, temperature in °C, cycle counting, and physical health estimation in mAh via Coulomb Counting) are computed and stored directly on the user's Android device flash storage, secured with on-device AES-256 ciphering and local obfuscation.
- **Fully Anonymous Usage & Hardware Telemetry:** Technical usage and diagnostic telemetry collected for software stability and charging model calibration is strictly aggregated and decoupled from all persistent hardware identifiers, ensuring it is technically impossible to identify an individual user or device.

## 4. Android Permissions & Technical Justifications
- `FOREGROUND_SERVICE` & `FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE`: Required to maintain the background electrical monitoring service with minimal overhead (<0.2% battery drain over 24 hours) and render real-time telemetry to the Android Notification Drawer and lockscreen.
- `POST_NOTIFICATIONS`: Required on Android 13+ (API 33+) to dispatch real-time audio and haptic notifications when reaching the 80% charge threshold (80/20 Rule Guardian), 20% discharge alert, or custom temperature alarms.
- `RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED`: Restarts the battery protection engine after device boot if configured by the user.
